Eastpointe, Michigan is a small city located in Macomb County, in the state of Michigan. With a population of around 32,000 residents, Eastpointe is a close-knit community with a rich history and a strong sense of pride.

Originally settled in the early 1830s, Eastpointe was known as the village of Halfway due to its location halfway between Detroit and Mt. Clemens. In 1924, the village was incorporated as the city of East Detroit, and in 1992, the city changed its name to Eastpointe to avoid confusion with the nearby city of Detroit.
